The Phonebook Project is a campaign initiative that aims to help poor students who have no access to gadget and connectivity survive online learning. In partnership with Smart, postpaid subscribers will be encouraged to donate their old mobile devices when they renew or upgrade their plan. This, in turn, can help struggling students from a selected Smart school/community catch up with online school in the time of pandemic. The old phone can be used as their communication device for their video calls during their online lessons where other Smart devices such as Smart Bro Pocket WiFi, Smart Prepaid Home WiFi, and SIM cards can also be provided to the chosen beneficiary school.
